Back
Garden
A
few pictures from my back garden:
If you love flowers and gardens as I do, perhaps you will
enjoy
a few picures from my garden!
Every girl needs the Goddess of Youth in her back
yard.....
Wildflowers and roses....
A night time escape... fragrant flowers and the
sound of nature... Ah!!!
Not sure what these blue spike flower are... but
I do love them....
A bee's favorite snack... coneflower pollen
This is a butterfly tree... they are really great showy trees. They
attract monarch butterflies and hummingbirds..
I just love the lacey black eyed susans.. they
are very unique and great cutting flowers. They are beautiful
set against the coneflower
Pink Hydrangeas... wanted blue but could not
get soil to the right acidity...So pink will have to do....
This is an oak leaf hydrangea. Their leaves
turn red in the fall and their bark turns to cinnamon in the
winter... not to mention showy blooms in the spring and summer.
Black Swallowtail, Papilio polyxenes
Gladiolas, a new found favorite. They are wonderful
for cutting and bringing in the house.
What
a shot... this Eastern Tiger Swallowtail, Papilio glaucus
is truly
great....
Enjoy
the other parts of my site-
there are more pictures on the Roses page - and a few growing
tips!
